Babes! Boobs! Sharks! RUH ROH.

The trailer has landed for "Shark Night 3D" and we'll give it credit for this: it doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. The film -- one half swimsuit model shoot, one half horror film -- concerns a bunch of friends who go to hang out at a cabin on an island in the middle of a lake and then find their scantily clad young bodies ripped apart by sharks. EXPLOSIONS! GRATUITOUS BUTT SHOT! There, we pretty much summed up the movie for you.

The movie stars a bunch of people including that guy from "Avatar" and it will open on September 2nd. Check out the trailer below. [via /Film]

I am afraid of sharks and I also hate lakes I dont like swimming in any dark water. I only go out so far in the ocean and prefer to stay in the clear water. I dont like not seeing what is beneath me. The fish in lakes scare me they always nip your toes.

Benjamin sharks can be in fresh water. Bull sharks can tolerate fresh water and can travel far up rivers.

The longest freshwater shark on record was found in Deep Creek Lake in the western panhandle of Maryland in 1983. It measured 9 feet 4 inches in length and weighed 512 pounds. The only other freshwater shark over 8 feet in length was found in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky in 2001. It was 8 feet 7 inches long and weighed 428 pounds and was thought to be responsible for all 3 shark attacks in that lake that summer.

Seriously. When did sharks rise up, kill their James Bond villain masters, and become evil geniuses that enjoy killing drunk, sexed up 25 year olds?

I thought killing the black guy first was considered out-of-bounds-degradingly-cliché by now. Seems I was mistaken.

Also, it's set in a lake. Salt water sharks in sweet water? What, is there some evil scientist who experimented on these sharks? That is not a rhetorical question, btw, I'm asking seriously.

Can't believe this is rated PG-13, especially after this trailer. Sorry it's looking like 5inal Destination earns my money I shouldn't spend on super campy 3D horror films
