Watch: Shia LaBeouf Directed Video For Kid Cudi's 'Marijuana'

It appears that when Shia LaBeouf isn't running from robots, he's directing music videos. A couple of years ago he helmed the spot for "I Never Knew You" by Cage and now, he's gotten behind the camera for the latest by rapper (and now rocker) Kid Cudi.

Vulture has hipped us to the travelogue style video for "Marijuana." In what could be considered a tame version of the proposed "The Hangover Part III," the video finds LaBeouf rolling with Cudi's crew through Amsterdam though no appendages go missing nor is there sex with shemales. Actually, it's all kind of boilerplate music video stuff perhaps only notable because LaBeouf directed it and for its low budget and on-the-fly look made possible by the FlipCam it was shot on. Anyway, check out the clip for yourself below.

Is that Ashton Kutcher on the left at 0:33-0:34?

This is a terrible music video for so many reasons. Nothing creative whatsoever, just a bunch of footage from this tour thrown together in chronological order. Mix in some cheap filters and visual effects, and Shia LaBeouf is a "director"!

It was already close to the lowest point, but now I have next to ZERO respect for Kid Cudi for working with Shia 'Habitual-Racist-Rant'er' TheBeef....
