Watch: Teaser For 'The Black Mamba' With Kobe Bryant Directed By Robert Rodriguez (Really)

Okay, we'll bite. Generally, teasers for ads are pretty lame but when the matchup is this eclectic it's hard to ignore.

A fifteen second preview of sorts has hit the web for "The Black Mamba" in what looks like a forthcoming Nike ad/short film that will star Kobe Bryant and will be directed by Robert Rodriguez. Of course, the title refers to Bryant's nickname for himself that he has used to brand a line of watches and we presume a forthcoming shoe. So we'll wait to see what this big challenge is but we guess it will be a bit more difficult than jumping over a car and he'll need Rodriguez's quick camera and sharp editing to help him save the day. Also, El Mariachi was 20 years ago and people still let Rodriguez make films?
