Okay, so we got our broadcast time zones mixed up, but the Beastie Boys star-studded short film debuted late last night on Comedy Central and as expected, it has leaked to the web.

Boasting a stupidly huge cast including Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Stanley Tucci, Chloe Sevigny and a shit ton more, the film is a battle between future and present versions of the Beastie Boys with the aforementioned talent filling in for Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock. We haven't had a chance to check out the full piece yet and while the trailer had us split around the Playlist office, with this many funny people knocking around, there's bound to be something for everyone so when we take our coffee break later when the boss steps out, we'll put our feet up and watch the whole thing.

But tell us your thoughts below. Lots of cussing in this one so you might want to turn our speakers down if you're at work. Check out the short film in full after the jump or if you're pressed for time, there's the "Make Some Noise" music video which distills footage from the longer cut. [via Audio Perv/MTV]

Down a six pack, revive your mind on how powerful these guys were in the 80s & 90s and then watch this wonderfully silly piece, The Boys and their cast were brilliant!

If you can't take this piece for what it is as a well done joke then you my friend are taking life a tad too seriously. Do less my friend. Do less.

To the dudes who always bitch and do nothing,

"Lots of laughs?" Where? I dare you to find one moment that ellicits more than an exasperated eye roll. If you think that's funny, you gotta check out those Madea flicks. In fact, I hear there's a new one comin' down the sewage system any day now.

Really can't stand the Beasties anymore. I feel like you can make all their songs with a random Beasties song generator.

I can't wait for "The Burrito Flavored Conglomerate Society" album with the farting B4 sample, the RUN DMC beat again, and Mike D's outdated rhyming style. "I'm MIKE D and...."

    rinse, repeat, etc.

You can't even watch this as a short film, it's just a fun thing that these stars did together for The Boys.

I liked it a lot for what it was. Lots of laughs and some good beastieboyssian moments. And their music still rocks!

I thought it was pretty decent for just a bunch of guys to have some fun, but its not rocket science. Cool to see a bunch of stars that even know about the Boys!

    best movie ever

ah, no reason to overthink it. It wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination. It was a free bit of sorta entertainment that was a rather engaging game of spot-the-celebrity. Granted, had I paid for this - I'd be disappointed. As it stands, it's a bunch of celebrities dicking off and trying to show how much fun they can have while mining history for broad laughs. Ocean's Twelve: The Beasties Remix.

Wow, I didn't think it was that bad. Damn. I thought it was hit or miss. There were some parts that were really good and some parts that were really not good. I'm digging the song though. The parts that had music in the background were all awesome. All the obviously ad-libbed shit could go though.

Agreed. A cavalcade of unfunny, uninteresting and unintelligence. These (largely overrated) clowns should be ashamed of themselves.

    This is terrible. Beyond terrible.
