So, we now have a trailer for Hilary Swank's straight-to-DVD Hammer horror film "The Resident" and well, there's a reason it won't be showing up at a multiplex near you.
Directed by Finnish television director Antti Jokinen and co-starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Christopher Lee and Lee Pace, the film is basically a cautionary tale for single women warning them to change their locks in case some super creepy dude decides to spy on you in the bathtub. Whatever. It looks pretty atrocious and we're pretty sure we're struggling to grasp what Swank saw in this material unless she owed somebody a favor or money or both.
"The Resident" will hit DVD/BluRay stateside on March 29th while those of you in the U.K. will be able to experience the film in all its glory on the big screen on March 11th. [Quiet Earth]
