Lionsgate has announced that Wes Bentley -- perhaps best known for seeing the magic and wonder of a plastic bag in "American Beauty" -- has joined the franchise film as Seneca Crane, the head Gamemaker on the 74th Hunger Games. Hooray. And in case you missed it, a few more people have also joined the ranks of the film.
Sam Ly, Leigha Hancock, Samuel Tan and Mackenzie Lintz have joined the film as the members of District 7 and 8. And all these folks round out the cast which includes Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and bunch of other people in District roles. And there's still more to come. Good God. "Hunger Games" opens on March 23, 2012.
