The original flick, directed by Edward Zwick and released in 1986, starred the brat pack duo of Demi Moore and Rob Lowe, was based on David Mamet’s play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” and told the tale of the up-and-down relationship of a couple through their first year. Leslye Headland (writer-director of the upcoming “Bachelorette”) penned the script, but a director is still being sought.
