Yes, This Is The First Look At Tom Hardy In 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

So, this morning a blurry image went around the interwebs of Tom Hardy looking particularly dusty and scruffy, with some claiming it to be the first look (as rough as it is) of the actor in "Mad Max: Fury Road." Well....it is.

Warner Bros. has confirmed that this indeed is an image taken from Geroge Miller's upcoming film, which officially wrapped on Monday, running slighty over the planned July-November shoot schedule. The signed pic, below, was something Hardy gave to the crew on the last day on the filming. And all told, it sounds like he had a great time. "It was an amazing experience. It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level," he told the Belfast Telegraph.

Co-starring Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and many, many more, 'Fury Road' is slated for 2014 release, in 3D of course. [AICN]
