Aw, man, this whole Ethan Hunt-in-a-hoodie motif is gonna be a thing, isn't it? There are ideas less cool than a forty-nine year old man in a hoodie, but we can't think of any right now, particularly with this new poster from "Mission: Impossible: Ghost: Protocol: Colon: Extra Colon: Metalstorm: The Destruction Of Jared-Syn" staring at us in the face. And we do mean FACE. Man, you could just reach out and kiss the Scientology lord in this shot. Kudos for shoehorning in the classic burning fuse from the original TV show, because otherwise, NOTHING about this looks like "Mission: Impossible." And that lament, friends, is three movies too late!

Kudos to the always-consistent marketing department of these big Hollywood blockbusters, though. They know full well that as soon as you start slapping random numbers on a picture, it looks exciting, dangerous and even a little futuristic! They're all two-digit numbers, so maybe this is just a giant Tom Cruise head lingering over a sea of retired sports jerseys. Look out David Robinson! Stay sharp, Mark Messier! Heads up, Manute Bol! Because this time, Tom Cruise is wearing a hoodie!

"Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" (official title- yep, a colon and a dash!) is slated for release December 21st. Click further to check out the poster. [Yahoo]

Ha, love the David Robinson name drop......and in response to the post below- wtf? I'm definitely not knocking it but just......you know, random.

Paula Patton gave birth to her first child with her toyboy husband Robin Thicke merely five months before filming began. In Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, she flaunts her post-pregnancy figure that boasts an ample cleavage, fuller legs and a fuller backside.

I’m a new mother myself and I highly recommend having children. My hips are bigger…my breasts are bigger. I’m loving it! I feel like more of a woman now. It definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before.

Tom Cruise stated that all of the Mission Impossible movies are set in their own alternate reality/universe and are not sequels or connected to each other. That explains why there is no continuity between the movies and why they keep using mostly new casts.
