"You're Sexy": Illicit Lovers List Out Their Top 10s In Exclusive Clip From '28 Hotel Rooms'

The Playlist By Edward Davis | The Playlist November 6, 2012 at 1:41PM

Unfolding as a collage of moments—some sexy, some innocent, some profound, some silly— "28 Hotel Rooms" is an intimate portrait of an affair in which two people wrestle with the intoxication of sex and the confusion of loving more than one person. Starring Chris Messina (most recently seen in "Argo" and "Ruby Sparks") and Marin Ireland (she was in the first season of "Homeland"), this indie drama is directed by Matt Ross, who some know from "Big Love" and we love most from his supporting role in Whit Stillman's "The Last Days of Disco" (he planned the lovably insufferable "Departmental Dan").

Messina and Ireland play a novelist and an accountant respectively who meet while they are traveling for work, and though they both are in relationships, their one-night stand could become something more. Here's the official synopsis.

Both traveling for work, in a city in which neither lives, a man (Chris Messina) and a woman (Marin Ireland) have a one-night stand. Months later, in another city, they run into each other in a hotel restaurant and sleep together a second time. Though she's married and he has a girlfriend, they decide to keep meeting. This begins an unexpected love that slowly evolves into a profound relationship and threatens to impact everything else in their lives.

Watch an exclusive clip from the film below where the two lovers in question ask one another: "What do you like about me?" What begins as playful quickly turns serious. "28 Hotel Rooms" opens in L.A. and Oregon on November 9th and begins expansion to New York, Seattle and more on November 16th.
