Ain't It Uncool, Part III: Mike Isbell Gets Serious

Time travel, aliens, moguls... Can't a film critic get a break around here?

Just when I thought I had Ain't It Cool critic Michael Isbell's legal troubles all straightened out, the guy is coming back to let The Reeler know it has work yet to do.

In a nutshell, Isbell's nasty break-up with publicist Anthea Liontos has left him charged with stalking, harrassment and endangering the welfare of Liontos' child. I presumed The Reeler had made that clear in yesterday's, um, correction; alas, Isbell remained as vigilant as ever late Thursday:

hmm. you might have added the note that molloy didn't write that headline and hated it.

and fyi, yup, stv, ol chap, you have got the most important part of it VERY wrong. AL did not leave me for [ex-Vivendi chief Jean-Marie] messier. he antedated me, y'see, which woulda made that kinda hard, unless there was some f**d up time traveling shit going on. and while I think Liontos was freaky and scary in her behavior towards me, I don't think she's, like, an alien with super powers.

anyway, messier claims he didn't know her. OUCH! How'd you like the love of your life to say that in the newspapers?

m

Oh, I don't know, Mike--about as much as I presume your lawyer likes you sending me hypotheses about time-traveling exes with the subject line "Super Anthea." But hey, as long as the story is accurate, that is all that matters. Right?
