Spurlock Re-Ups for '30 Days' More

OK, OK--I admit it: I thought the premise was stupid, obvious, reheated and undercooked. But evidently an average of 1.4 million viewers of Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days thought differently, and now FX has re-upped with Spurlock for another season of the agonizingly didactic reality show planting regular folks in irregular situations--the homophobe in the Castro, the Christian with the Muslims, etc. etc.

According to FX, 30 Days earned the network's highest ratings ever for an unscripted program--a fact only slightly more obvious than Spurlock's own work since it seems to be the only original reality programming FX has. But whatever. Cheers to Spurlock, laughing last and laughing loudest, as always.
