'Hoodwinked': Home Cookin' with The Weinsteins
The Weinstein Company's new animated film Hoodwinked--a sassy digital retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood legend--is pretty damned cute and should have no trouble finding an audience. But just in case, it looks like Harvey's marketers have broken their asses whipping up something irresistable for the holidays--literally. (Click on the image at right for a larger version.) These "top secret" recipes are a play on the film's central plot device, but I am telling you: This is exactly the kind of shit the Weinsteins wanted to do for films like The Great Raid and Proof when they were under Disney's thumb, but Michael Eisner just would not let them. I just hope they have some of that billion-dollar capital left over to test out The Libertine's Double-Penetration Brownies or Transamerica's Chicks-With-Dicks Marshmallow Treats. I smell a delicious new holiday tradition, to be sure. Posted by stvanairsdale on Nov 23, 2005 at 05:01PM |
