Screenwriter David Koepp Honored with Writers Guild's Career Achievement Award

The Writers Guild of America, East announces screenwriter and director David Koepp will receive the Ian McClellan Hunter Award for Career Achievement. The award, established in 1992, honors a WGA member for his or her body of work.

Gore Verbinski and New Regency Bringing Graphic Novel 'Pyongyang' to Life

New Regency has acquired "Pyongyang," set up at director Gore Verbinski’s Blind Wink transmedia banner which also produced "Rango." The film is about a young animator sent to North Korea who is then accused of espionage.

San Francisco Film Society Boasts Four Award-Winning Films at Sundance 2013

The San Francisco Film Society had a good year at the Sundance Film Festival. Four of the films that received significant funding from the society's Filmmaker360 program went on to win awards at the fest, including Dramatic Grand Jury prize winner "Fruitvale" by Ryan Coogler.
