Disney Confirms 'Star Wars' Spin-Offs for Individual Characters -- Yoda's Up First

Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed during an interview on CNBC that the Mouse House will release "Star Wars" spin-offs based on individual characters. Paolo and Vittorio Taviani’s docudrama “Caesar Must Die,” Italy's Oscar entry that runs February 6-19 at Film Forum, takes place at Rome’s maximum-security Rebibbia Prison, and stars the facility’s actual inmates. Many of the men are serving life sentences, with a variety of high crimes on their records: drug trafficking, Cammora and Mafia affiliation, and murder.

Different Roads Out of Sundance: 'Bellflower' Team, Brit Marling and Benh Zeitlin

Evan Glodell and his "Bellflower" team are back in the saddle for "Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins." The multi-hyphenate is handing over directing reins to Jonathan Keevil (who scored "Bellflower") and is serving as producer. They are also reuniting with "Bellflower"'s Tyler Dawson and DP Joel Hodge. They are using IndieGoGo to raise funds; the promo video takes place in a car, just like our interview with them. The film aims to be a surrealist action/drama set unabashedly in the '80s.
