Academy member Dolores Hart, 73, the Hollywood ingenue who kissed Elvis Presley in "Loving You" and Jim Hutton (Tim's Dad) in "Where the Boys Are," made her first appearance at the Oscars Sunday, accompanying HBO's documentary short nominee "God is the Bigger Elvis."

Aspen Shortsfest Celebrates 20 Years; Festival Runs April 10-15

The Aspen Shortsfest, celebrating its 20th year, runs in Colorado at the Wheeler Opera House April 10-15. Indiewire considers the fest one of the top 50 in the world, with its showcase of short drama, comedy, animation and documentary films. On March 14 the fest's full program will be announced here. Video: 'Alphaville' Remix; Why This Piece of 60s Pulp Fiction is Must-See Jean-Luc Godard

My favorite Jean-Luc Godard film, the glorious 1965 black-and-white surreal sci-fi noir "Alphaville," starring Eddie Constantine, Godard's wife Anna Karina and Paris at night, has gotten a snazzy remix (below). It's basically the opening montage with the French narration remixed to new music.

Reeves Joins Actor-Director Gang with Chinese-Language 'Man of Tai Chi'

On February 28, Keanu Reeves began production in China on his directorial debut, "Man of Tai Chi." The Chinese-language film will shoot over six months in China and Hong Kong on a budget of $32 million. It is a contemporary action film; famed martial arts choreographer Yuen Woo-ping will work with Reeves, who stars in the film, as well as co-stars Tiger Chen and Karen Mok. The project is a co-production of China Film Group, Village Roadshow, Wanda Media and Universal (which will handle distribution).
