'Star Wars' Cast Revealed on Facebook, Arndt and Lucas Not Mentioned

After all the speculation over recent months, Disney and Lucasfilm--whose leaders Robert Iger and Kathleen Kennedy have joined forces-- announced the cast of the new J.J. Abrams "Star Wars" movie. On Facebook.

'Orphan Black' Gaining Traction in Season Two

"Orphan Black," the BBC's cult hit starring the chameleon-like Tatiana Maslany in many different guises, nabbed 719,000 viewers for its second episode of Season Two, which aired April 26. While still niche numbers, this is a good 15% increase from this season's premiere episode, which scored 620,000 viewers.

Janus Films is set to release a brand new 4K restoration of the Beatles’ delirious, anything-goes musical “A Hard Day’s Night” -- where John, Paul, George and Ringo play slapstick versions of themselves, hounded by gaga fans -- in more than 50 cities over the July 4 weekend, including New York’s Film Forum, LA’s Cinefamily and San Francisco’s Castro Theatre.

John Travolta Hits the "Bollywood Oscars," Eyeing Role in a Bollywood Film (VIDEO)

It was nothing but Bollywood this past weekend for John Travolta. The star, who blew up the internet a couple months ago when he presented "Frozen" star Idina Menzel as Adele Dazeem at the Oscars, was honored at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (or the "Bollywood Oscars") in Tampa on March 26, where he received an Outstanding Achievement in International Cinema award. He also dropped some hints about being close to signing on to star in a Bollywood film -- Shekhar Kapur's "Paani."

Cannes Opener 'Grace of Monaco,' Starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly, May Seek New Stateside Distributor

Well, it looks like Harvey Weinstein hasn't worked his Oscar wiles on filmmaker Olivier Dahan, who directed Marion Cotillard to an Oscar in "La Vie en Rose." The American distributor had wanted to craft another Oscar contender. But the French director likes his own final cut--which is opening the Cannes Film Festival on May 14. If TWC drops the release, the producers of the Nicole Kidman biopic may be in search of a new stateside distributor. It is not mentioned in any of Weinstein's advance Cannes email pitches so far.
