Magnolia Re-releasing Denmark's Oscar Nominated 'A Royal Affair' with Mikkelsen and Vikander

"A Royal Affair"
Denmark's "A Royal Affair," one of five nominated films competing for the Best Foreign Language Oscar, will be re-released by Magnolia Pictures on January 18 at the Quad Cinema in New York City and on February 1 at Laemmle’s Royal Theatre in West Los Angeles. It also continues to roll out across the states. The film, directed by Nikolaj Arcel, premiered at Berlin where it won both Best Actor and Best Screenplay. It also played Telluride, Toronto and AFI, and was nominated for the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice award for Best Foreign Film.

    Amazing, how many mistakes in this short article, who wrote this??!! It's not Mads MikkelsOn, but Mads MikkelsEn!!!! He is DANISH, so the ending is almost always -sen, not -son (that's more Swedish/ Norwegian). Just had to be said - as I am myself, Danish and a -sen :-) Anyways, yes yes an amazing film, with amazing Mads, not to be missed, seen it 3 times now.

    Mikkel Boe Følsgaard was the one to win the Berlin award, though, not Mads...
    Anyhow, favorite movie and certainly proud to be of the same country as this film!
