The Academy unveils its newest poster in celebration of the 85th Academy Awards on February 24. English artist Olly Moss collaborated with Gallery1988 to create a poster that features Oscar statuettes from each year of the the award show's history; each one is inspired by the Best Picture winners, from 1927's "Wings" to 2012's "The Artist." A few examples are above, and the full poster is below. Check out the full digital gallery here.

The poster and a special edition T-shirt by DabsMyla are now available for purchase here.

The original poster will be on display starting February 14 as part of “For Your Consideration,” the Academy’s collaborative exhibition with Gallery1988 Melrose.

A little wit might have come in handy in designing that poster. Can you imagine what Al Hirschfeld would have done with that concept?
