'Charlie Countryman' and 'Wolf of Wall Street' Make Sex Scene Trims for R Rating; Evan Rachel Wood Vents Against MPAA

Martin Scorsese's new movie "The Wolf of Wall Street," which starts screening for press and awards voters the week after Thanksgiving, has already been showed to the MPAA ratings board-- which would not grant an R rating until the director trimmed some sexy material. The movie still came in at two hours 59 minutes--well over two 45-- so it doesn't look like he cut very much. Actress Evan Rachel Wood was dismayed when she saw the final cut of "Charlie Countryman" and took to Twitter Wednesday to vent her displeasure. ‏

Casting Watch: Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood Head 'Into the Forest'

Ellen Page is set to produce and star opposite Evan Rachel Wood in a film adaptation of Jean Hegland's novel "Into the Forest." Patricia Rozema ("Grey Gardens," "Mansfield Park") is helming from her adapted screenplay.

Trailer Watch: Shia Labeouf's Euro Trip Goes Haywire in 'Charlie Countryman,' with Evan Rachel Wood and Mads Mikkelsen

A first trailer arrived yesterday for "Charlie Countryman." The film, which is the feature debut of commercials director Fredrik Bond, centers on a young man (Shia Labeouf) who while on a European vacation falls in love and trouble simultaneously when he meets Gabi (Evan Rachel Wood, playing a heavily accented cellist) and discovers she's already attracted the attentions of a vicious Romanian gangster (Mads Mikkelsen).
