First Image from Herzog’s ‘Queen of the Desert’ Arrives as Director’s Films Stream on Fandor

Ubiquitous as always, there’s a whole lot more of Werner Herzog coming our way over the next few months. The upcoming 16-film Blu-ray set, arriving at the end of this month, would normally be plenty, but there's also his first narrative feature since 2009: "Queen of the Desert."

Jon Favreau's "Chef" (Open Road) and Gia Coppola's "Palo Alto" (Tribeca) both scored more than $20,000 per screen in limited openings this weekend. Radius/Weinstein veered from its usual pattern with a wider initial release of the food documentary "Fed Up," eschewing VOD for now.

On the first day of shooting Gia Coppola was feeling her nerves. "I was so eager to do it," she says. "It had fallen apart so many times, that it reached a point, on the first day of shooting, I didn't believe it. I had gone through all the emotions, believing it would fall apart again: 'Oh my god, I'm here and I don't know what to do.'"

WATCH: Stars Collide in First Trailer for Paul Haggis's 'Third Person'

A trailer has landed for the most recent effort from writer-director Paul Haggis (Oscar winner "Crash"). "Third Person," which bowed at last year's Cannes, is finally eyeing a limited stateside release on June 20. Like the multiple-narrative-heavy "Crash," this new drama also follows an array of characters -- in the forms of Liam Neeson, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde, Adrien Brody and Moran Atias.

She's the talk of the town as she makes her Broadway debut as song-and-dance ingenue Sally Bowles opposite Alan Cumming in Roundabout's revival of the dark musical "Cabaret," directed by Mendes, a prolific stage director before foraying into film with his Oscar-winning debut "American Beauty" in 1999.
