FIRST LOOK: Toronto Best Actress Candidate Jessica Chastain Stars in Liv Ullmann's 'Miss Julie' (TRAILER)

Now that the dust is settling around the recent flurry of fall film festival announcements, one promising entry is a Toronto world premiere: Norwegian actress-writer-director Liv Ullmann's adaptation of Swedish playwright August Strindberg’s 1888 classic "Miss Julie." The film starring Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty"), Colin Farrell ("Saving Mr. Banks") and Samantha Morton ("A.I.") seeks a North American distributor.

This Fall, we'll see her in Christopher Nolan's ambitious sci-fi "Interstellar" (November 7) and, hopefully on the festival circuit at least, in director Liv Ullman's Strindberg adaptation "Miss Julie." UPDATE: Casey Affleck is the latest to sign on to Christopher's Nolan's time-traveling "Interstellar," which currently has Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain and Bill Irwin lined up. Affleck has been on a roll lately, with David Lowery's Western "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" (August 16) and Scott Cooper's "Out of the Furnace," which Relativity is giving a confident Oscar push this coming awards season. "Interstellar" is set for a November 7, 2014 release.
