Melissa Leo Joins James Franco in Ian Olds' Wartime Drama 'The Fixer'

Melissa Leo has hopped aboard the cast of "The Fixer," from writer/director Ian Olds. Co-written by Paul Felten, the film centers on Gloria (Leo), the erstwhile hippie sheriff of a small Northern California town opposite Lindsay (James Franco), a volatile hot tub craftsman. The part of Gloria was written with Leo in mind.

Lionsgate Likes 'The Angriest Man in Brooklyn,' Starring Robin Williams, Mila Kunis, Peter Dinklage and Melissa Leo

Lionsgate has snapped up North American rights to Phil Alden Robinson’s comedy-drama “The Angriest Man in Brooklyn,” starring Robin Williams as a man informed while at the hospital that he only has 90 minutes to live. Mila Kunis, Melissa Leo, Peter Dinklage and Hamish Linklater also star.
