Review Round-Up and Featurette: Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" Promises Serious Eye-Candy

Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" premieres in the U.S. on June 8, but after overseas debuts in France, Russia, and England critics have inked their responses and some spoiler-heavy ones at that. The handful of critics who published early reviews agree that the film's visuals are stunning and Ridley Scott is right at home in the "world creation" part of his fantasy films. The new featurette on the space ship Prometheus posted below is irrefutable evidence of stunning visuals. It's still up for debate whether the movie provides substance to the heady questions of morality and existence.

'Prometheus' Celebrates Fassbender's Fascinating Robot; Fox Confirms Film Not Yet Rated

While Fox confirms to TOH! that Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" (June 8) has not yet been submitted for a rating (dashing rumors of a PG-13), the studio has released a new video celebrating the birthday of David the robot, played by the ever-fascinating Michael Fassbender. (Think HAL on steroids.) Matt Mueller, who attended the London "Prometheus" preview, warns that Fassbender "appears in serious danger of walking away with the movie."

'Prometheus': Blow by Blow on London's Footage Screening and Q & A with Scott, Theron, Fassbender, Rapace

This morning in London, Twentieth Century Fox held the world’s first screening of 3-D footage from “Prometheus,” treating an early-morning crowd to three scenes and thirteen minutes followed by a Q&A session with director Ridley Scott (“Please stop calling me Sir Ridley”) and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron.
