The first international trailer for Ridley Scott's "The Counsellor" has landed. The film is the first original feature screenplay penned by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy ("The Road," "No Country for Old Men") and stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Cameron Diaz, among others, in a story centered on a lawyer dabbling in drug trade and then suddenly in over his head.

'I'm So Excited' Review: Sex, Drugs and R&B Collide at 30,000 Feet

It's hard to understand the motivation of whoever was tasked with translating the title of Pedro Almodóvar's new movie into English. They ended up with "I'm So Excited!", which certainly conveys the campy joy of the 95-minute airborne bacchanal but is a far cry from the film's original Spanish title, "Los amantes pasajeros." Admittedly, it's a hard one to translate--"The Lovers On-Board" or even "The Lover-Passengers" would be closer yet self-evidently clumsy--but the film's original title does so much to encapsulate the delicious, shocking, messy piece that Almodóvar has put together. Nevertheless, that unknown translator might have been on to something--this could be a tough film for American audiences to swallow (pun fully intended).

Early Reviews: Woody Allen's 'To Rome With Love' Falls Short of 'Midnight in Paris,' Does Not Please Romans

Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love," his love letter to the eternal city, has not pleased the natives. It seems he misjudged the zeitgeist. Many Italian critics thought his glossy postcard view of Rome did a disservice to the hard economic times the city faces.  Early reviews below.
