The European Film Award-winners were led by Michael Haneke's "Amour," which cleaned up in the four main categories: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and Best Actress (Emmanuelle Riva).

More than 2,700 members of the European Film Academy voted on this year's awards. The ceremony was held in Malta.
