Thompson on Hollywood
Rough House and Mandate pictures are prepping an untitled comedy written by Harris Wittels (Parks & Recreation), based on an idea by Aziz Ansari (Parks & Recreation) and 30-Rock writer Matt Hubbard. Ansari will star alongside Danny McBride (Up In The Air), and will also executive produce with Mandate president Nathan Kahane. This is Rough House's second project with Mandate Pictures since their formation late 2009 with the joint goal to produce high-concept comedies.

Here's a taste of Parks & Recreation and a look at Ansari's stand-up (the poster is from his past tour titled "Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening").
