BAFTA LA's Britannia Awards to Disney/Pixar's John Lasseter, Harry Potter's David Yates

This year's 20th annual British Academy of Film and TV LA Britannia Awards will go to Disney/Pixar's two-time Oscar-winner John Lasseter (Toy Story, Cars) and Harry Potter series director David Yates.

Lasseter will receive the Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment, while BAFTA-winning Yates gets the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing at the awards ceremony Wednesday, November 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Other awards at the annual Britannia evening include the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film, the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year, and the Charlie Chaplin Award for Excellence in Comedy.
