Thompson on Hollywood

The well-praised Ramin Bahrani Plastic Bag short has been making the festival rounds, most recently, at SXSW. It stars the word-perfect Werner Herzog as the voice of a plastic bag. More details here.

Bahrani and Herzog are participating on this year's Boulder, Colorado Cinema Interruptus panel with Roger Ebert on Herzog's Aguirre: the Wrath of God. Bahrani had done a session on Chop Shop, and Ebert brought him back to be part of Herzog's panel.

Check it out.
