Wheatley is an interesting director who isn't afraid to allow his actors a LOT of room to interpret scenes. It makes for refreshing, believable dialogue between characters, and if KILL LIST is any indication, he has a gift for keeping the plot's oncoming events well out of guessing range. It's a great combination.
Bone to pick with you, though: although it has a handful of laughs, KILL LIST is not even remotely a 'dark comedy'. I've seen it 3 times with an assortment of 15-odd friends of varying stripes; you're as wrong as wrong gets on this label.

Sightseers is not just a comedy either I think, it's just damn dark.

On second thought, while I found Kill List to be very funny, it is not exactly a comedy. I changed it.
