Photo calls at Cannes give all manner of talent an opportunity to grin, gloat, mug, and pose to promo their upcoming feature. Some are adorable: See "Moonrise Kingdom." Some are pranksters: See Sacha Baron Cohen. His strutting in 2006 in a dayglow green mankini to promote "Borat" outshined this year's stunt. This year the jokester almost fell off a camel and goofed on a boat to promote "The Dictator."

DreamWorks went all out to market "Rise of the Guardians" and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" at Cannes.  And who could forget the starry jury?  Jean-Paul Gaultier, Diane Kruger, and Ewan McGregor happily clutch onto each other in their Cannes photo opp.  After the jump, we've lined up an array of the the best of Cannes 2012 photo shoots.
