Cameron Crowe has reportedly singled out Bradley Cooper as the ideal casting choice for his next project, which already has Emma Stone on board.
The project is currently untitled, but will have "a tone reminscent of past Crowe films 'Almost Famous' and 'Jerry Maguire,'" reports Deadline. Scott Rudin is producing, with production set for spring of 2013.
With Oscar buzz building for Cooper's performance as a manic ex-teacher in David O. Russell's "Silver Linings Playbook," and indie cred due to arrive with his starring role in Derek Cianfrance's "Place Beyond the Pines" (out March 2013; it scored strong reviews out of Toronto), the actor is moving toward keys-to-the-kingdom status. Please, let his "Hangover" days be over.
