Viggo Mortensen has been offered the role of Dracula in Neil Marshall's ("The Descent") "The Last Voyage of the Demeter," which follows the vampire's famous plague-carrying seabound voyage from Transylvania to England. Ben Kingsley is attached to play the ship's captain, and Noomi Rapace is circling the role of stowaway Anna Billington.

Ashton Kutcher has been attached to the Steve Jobs biopic "Jobs" for months, and now he's got a slew of actors joining him and director Joshua Michael Stern ("Swing Vote"). James Woods will play Jobs' former Dean of Students, Jack Dudman, while Lucas Haas will play Apple engineer Daniel Kottke and Dermot Mulroney will serve as investor and second Apple CEO Mike Markkula. Also on board is Ron Eldard as Apple designer Rod Holt, John Getz as Jobs’ father Paul Jobs and Lesley Ann Warren as Jobs’ adoptive mother Clara Jobs.

UPDATE: It seems that for the role of Johanna from District 7, Zoe Aggeliki has the edge (pun intended) over Jena Malone, to play the seemingly weak but deceptive ax-wielder. Deadline reports that Aggeliki is in serious talks with "Catching Fire" director Francis Lawrence, who took over when Gary Ross made the decision not to return to the franchise in April. Aggeliki has roles in the upcoming "R.I.P.D." and another franchise sequel, "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters."

Despite Mia Wasikowska's rumored attachment to the role on IMDb, Entertainment Weekly reports that the actress has not been approached.
