IFC Midnight Acquires Brandon Cronenberg's 'Antiviral,' Father and Son Interview at Cannes (VIDEO)

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. Thus Brandon Cronenberg, whose debut feature "Antiviral" premiered in Un Certain Regard at Cannes, shares plenty of horror DNA with his father David, who admitted during a Cannes father-son interview with Toronto Film Festival's Cameron Bailey that they both share an interest in the natural world.

Trailer Watch: Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' Hits Web

A group of journalists in Cannes saw much of the footage from Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" that hit the web in its first trailer Wednesday. The trailer leaked before a planned Fandango launch today. The Weinstein Co. and Sony are partnered on the film which is still in mid-production and is set to finish in mid-July for December 25 release.

Not only does the ad include footage of Kurosawa directing a herd of horses and extras while filming "Kagemusha," but we can see the directors guzzling whiskey and not pretending to find it delicious.
