Trailer Watch: Kim Ki-Duk's Venice Golden Lion Winner 'Pieta,' Plus New Mondo Poster

The new trailer for Kim Ki-Duk's 2012 Venice Golden Lion winner and South Korea's Oscar entry "Pieta" has arrived, along with a poster by Mondo artist Jay Shaw (Mondo's sister company, Drafthouse Films, is distributing the film). Jo Min-soo gives a knockout performance as a woman claiming to be the long-lost mother of a lone shark (Lee Jung-jin) who collects bloody paybacks for his moneylender boss. He literally takes limbs in payment.

First Look: Penn Badgley Stars as Iconic Singer Musician Jeff Buckley in 'Greetings from Tim Buckley,' Trailer and Clip

Tribeca Film has just released the trailer for Daniel Algrant's "Greetings from Tim Buckley," which goes On Demand on April 16 before its limited opening in NY and LA on May 3. The film played last fall at TIFF and Venice. As Jeff struggles to reconcile the legacy of his enigmatic father (played in 1960s flashbacks by Ben Rosenfield), the film chronicles Jeff's relationship with a young woman (Imogen Poots).Trailer, and a clip, below.

The first trailer for Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling's second collaboration, "Only God Forgives," has landed. Like 2011's "Drive," "Only God Forgives" looks to feature amped-up style, a distinctive soundtrack (here featuring a song by Thai group Proud), and Gosling brutally kicking ass while casting inscrutable glances.

'World War Z' UPDATE: Paramount Execs Cut Mention of China as Possible Culprit of Zombie Outbreak

As if "World War Z" hasn't already stomached enough production turmoil. News broke earlier today that Paramount executives have changed a minor plot point in the film that involves China, so that Chinese officials might look more favorably on the film for domestic distribution in the fast-rising Chinese market.
