Tribeca Films Loves Alex Karpovsky, Picks Up Both 'Red Flag' and 'Rubberneck'

Tribeca Films has picked up North American rights for two films by Alex Karpovsky, "Rubberneck" and "Red Flag." Both films Karpovsky wrote and starred in, and center on a young man's awkward navigation of relationships.

Casting Watch: Rising Stars Isaac and Clarke Set for 'Departed' Writer's Next Feature 'Mojave'

Oscar Isaac ("The Bourne Legacy," "Drive") and Jason Clarke ("Zero Dark Thirty," "Lawless") are set for the lead roles in William Monahan's thriller "Mojave," from the director's original screenplay. Monahan is best known for his Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar win for Martin Scorsese's "The Departed."

Filming Begins for MacLaine and Plummer's 'Elsa & Fred' Remake: Cast Includes Brolin, Harden, Noth & Gilman

Joining the cast of Michael Radford's remake of "Elsa & Fred," starring Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer, are Marcia Gay Harden, Chris Noth, Jared Gilman, James Brolin, George Segal, Wendell Pierce, Reg Rogers, and Erika Alexander. The film just kicked off production in New Orleans.

Ellison Siblings Team Annapurna & Skydance for 'Terminator' Revamp

Casting Watch: Dane DeHaan Beats Eddie Redmayne for Harry Osborn Role in 'Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Dane DeHaan, who starred in "Chronicle" and has had minor roles this year in both "Lincoln" and "Lawless," has been cast as Harry Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." DeHaan will take over the role from James Franco in Sam Raimi's first three "Spider Man" films, and joins leads Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, as well as franchise newcomers Shailene Woodley and Jamie Foxx (who was recently confirmed to play villain Electro).
