'Justified,' and 'Southland' Finales: Meet Hardboiled Director Don Siegel

Watching the final few episodes of "Justified" (which ended its season this week) as well as "Southland" and the more pretentious "The Killing," I found myself thinking about Don Siegel, the mid-century hardboiled director whose films epitomized an unpretentious, corrosive vein of American cinema.

HBO Renews 'Game of Thrones': Should You Know What's Going On?

As "Game of Throne" watchers scratch their heads and reach for explanations of who's who, HBO has renewed the popular fantasy epic for a third season. Season Two of the series based on George R.R. Martin's bestsellers premiered April 1 to record ratings for the series--the first episode has already grossed 8.3 million viewers.

'Girls' Q & A with Dunham & Apatow: Hilarious and Sexually Frank Comedy Series is 'Lena's Show'

Lena Dunham unveiled the first three episodes of her new HBO series "Girls" (April 15) at SXSW. Safe to say, it played as well for the guys in the room as the women. Trying to Load Sony and Amazon Instant Video App for My PlayStation 3

As soon as Amazon and Sony Computer Entertainment announced the launch of the Amazon Instant Video app for PlayStation 3, which means that as an Amazon Prime member I can not only upload to watch on my TV some 120,000 movies and TV shows, but 17,000 movies and TV shows on the PlayStation Network as well.
