And Jason Reitman may actually direct her script Young Adult with Charlize Theron in the role of a young adult writer who stalks her ex-high school boyfriend. The Juno team of Mr. Mudd and Mandate start filming in November, reports Deadline.
Cody's first Red Band Trailer interviews are with folks she knows: Adam Brody, who starred in Jennifer's Body, which Cody wrote; TV host Chelsea Handler, for whom Cody's husband Dan Maurio works; and Juno star Jason Bateman. I admire Cody's screenwriting. I'm not sure about her future as a talk-show host. But I watched all three of these--recognizing that her guests were a lot more comfortable with the camera than she is. Isn't the space already pretty cluttered?

...AND she just sold a TV pilot to Fox. The lady is BUSY. Which makes me happy, I really enjoy her prose and her sense of humor. :)

I'm sorry that I didn't write a stripper blog, have a top manager find me after googling the word "pussy", win an Oscar for my first spec sale, get hand picked by Spielberg to run a show...I just hope this woman realizes her path has been amazingly blessed. I mean, like it's science fiction her story. I do like her though, even if I'm totally jeal. She's a fun wordsmith (well, except for that heinous scene with Rain Wilson in Juno with the legomyeggo dialogue)
