Critics' Choice Television Award Winners Include 'Game of Thrones,' 'Behind the Candelabra,' Michael Douglas, Elisabeth Moss and More

The winners of the third annual Critics' Choice Television Awards have been announced, following a star-studded gala on June 10. AMC's "Breaking Bad" and HBO's "Game of Thrones" tied for Best Drama Series, while "The Big Bang Theory" won for Best Comedy Series. Elizabeth Moss won a deserved Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series award for "Top of the Lake"; Michael Douglas took the Actor award in that category for Steven Soderbergh's "Behind the Candelabra" (which also took Best Movie or Mini-series). Many of the winners of the third annual Critics' Choice Television Awards--which were announced following a star-studded gala on June 10--come from the movies.

Movie veteran Michael Douglas took the Best Actor award in a movie or mini-series for film director Steven Soderbergh's lavish biopic "Behind the Candelabra" (which also took Best Movie or Mini-series) and his "The China Syndrome" co-star Jane Fonda landed a Guest Performer award for Hollywood screenwriter Aaron Sorkin's HBO drama series "The Newsroom." "Star Trek" star Zachary Quinto took home Best Supporting Actor for mini-series "American Horror Story: Asylum."

AMC's "Breaking Bad" and HBO's "Game of Thrones" tied for Best Drama Series, while "The Big Bang Theory" won for Best Comedy Series. "Mad Men" star Elisabeth Moss won a deserved Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series award for film director Jane Campion's "Top of the Lake."

As for those of you programming your DVRs for the next few months, check out the critics' picks for Most Exciting New Series: "The Bridge" - FX, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." - ABC, "Masters of Sex" - Showtime, "The Michael J.
