Lisa Cholodenko to Helm New Miniseries 'The Slap'

It's been four years since Lisa Cholodenko's Oscar-nominated "The Kids Are All Right" hit theaters, and 2014 will finally see some new material from the director who, like so many others, is bringing her talents to television. Her miniseries "Olive Kittredge" is arriving on HBO later this year -- and has a knockout cast, including Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Richard Jenkins and Zoe Kazan -- and now news has landed that she'll be involved in another series with a rather fascinating premise.
