Director William Friedkin, who revealed last month that his 1977 film "Sorcerer" has finally received a studio-funded digital restoration and will premiere at this year's Venice Film Festival, recently gave an impromptu tribute to Roger Ebert following a Q&A at the Chicago Critics Film Festival. He recited Dylan Thomas' "And Death Shall Have No Dominion." Watch below.

The Seattle Film Festival has been going since May 17, so I'll be arriving a bit late to the party Thursday afternoon. The country's longest festival wraps up this Sunday, and I've been watching screeners in Los Angeles to prepare myself. Large and local, this festival offers cinephiles plenty of riches.
