The 65th Directors Guild of America Awards return to the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 2, 2013. That's near the once-named Kodak Theatre where the Academy Awards will continue to be held. The DGA awards are being given out a week ahead of this year's event. "The decision to move the date by one week was made during the process of securing the venue," said the DGA. While the Oscar nominations have been moved up by a week, the award telecast is within the same time frame.

Most of the time, the DGA feature film winner is also the winner for best director at the Oscars. Michel Hazanavicius won both this year, for "The Artist."
