Trying to Load Sony and Amazon Instant Video App for My PlayStation 3

As soon as Amazon and Sony Computer Entertainment announced the launch of the Amazon Instant Video app for PlayStation 3, which means that as an Amazon Prime member I can not only upload to watch on my TV some 120,000 movies and TV shows, but 17,000 movies and TV shows on the PlayStation Network as well.

It's Official: Lynton Moves Up to Run Sony Corporation of America In Addition to Sony Pictures Entertainment

Respected Sony veteran exec Michael Lynton is moving up to chair Sony Corporation of America. The news broke last week in the Financial Times and New York Times; Lynton will continue as chairman/CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment. (The official release is pasted below.)

Sony Tries To Keep Review Lid on Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Sony is trying to contain critics who are itching to review David Fincher's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," which has an official review embargo date of December 13 in advance of its December 21 release. Studios use reviews as marketing fodder, and figure if they screen a film in advance for press, they have the right to demand that the media hold off on tweets, posts and publishing until closer to release.
