Here's the number one Quote Whore of the year:

#1 - SHAWN EDWARDS
This was actually a no-brainer this year. 26 quotes on the year. 20 of them with rotten tomatoes. 9 of those less than 40% approval. As I am writing this I am filled with an uncontrollable force of anger that critics like these continue to be coddled and cradled by studios. Warner Bros. and Sony/Screen Gems were responsible for using him 11 times between them. More each than the company (Fox) he apparently works for, which used him 4 times. I don't care if it is business-as-usual or that they look for the hyperbole, it's wrong and it's pathetic. This is the second time Shawn Edwards has been named as Criticwatch's Whore of the Year. He is the third whore to achieve such infamy - with Pete Hammond and Earl Dittman being the others. This is Criticwatch's ninth year and yet three whores have dominated the race for six of them. Dittman is barely a blip on the radar anymore. But the same names keep appearing. Travers, Hammond, Ferguson, Allen and this guy, the scourge of Kansas City.
