Nate Silver and Stephen Colbert

NY Times blogger Nate Silver was impressive on Charlie Rose and he's hilarious on The Colbert Report. Basically, the author of "The Signal and the Noise: Why So Many Predictions Fail--But Some Don't" thinks most political pundits are full of hot hair and it's not rocket science to add up the averages on a series of polls--which are trending even more toward Obama in the last 48 hours-- and come to the conclusion with 87% certainty that our incumbent president has more than 270 electoral votes in the bag.
