  Hard to get excited about further Gosling-Refn collaborations, since Drive was an unrealistic, poorly conceived mess with a soundtrack that sounded as if chosen by a bunch of 7-year-old Swedish girls on a sleepover (who also chose the leading man's silly jacket).

  Refn made a movie that he would want to watch, since his last films apparently weren't (Bronson and Valhalla Rising). Drive just wasn't for you, huh?
  
  I thought the film was set up perfectly to allow the viewer (not you) to suspend disbelief and be swept up in this world of monsters in disguise, complete with roaring engines and great beatz. Yes, with a "z".
