Forbes Lists Highest Paid Celebs Under 30: Music's Women and 'Twilight' Stars Reign

Young women dominate Forbes' list of the Highest Paid Celebrities under 30, with six spots on the top ten, four of which are in the top five. It's music divas Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Adele joining top earning actress Kristen Stewart.

Young women dominate Forbes' list of the Highest Paid Celebrities under 30, with six spots on the top ten, four of which are in the top five. It's music divas Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Adele joining top earning actress Kristen Stewart. Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are the gents on the list. Details on their ages and salaries below.

Forbes details how album and concert sales, endorsements, film paydays and profit participation helped each of the stars. Forbes also notes they did not deduct for agent fees or other expenses related to living the life of a celebrity. They did not include athletes this year, but last year's list included Lebron James with $48 million, Roger Federer with $47 million, Cristiano Ronaldo with $38 million, Lionel Messi with $32 million and Rafael Nadal with $31 milllion.

Thompson on Hollywood

Born and raised in Manhattan, Anne Thompson grew up going to the Thalia and The New Yorker and wound up at grad Cinema Studies at NYU. She wrote for the LA Weekly, Sight and Sound, Empire, The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly before serving as West Coast Editor of Premiere. She wrote for The Washington Post, The London Observer, Wired, More, and Vanity Fair, and did staff stints at The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. She eventually took her blog Thompson on Hollywood to Indiewire. She taught film criticism at USC Critical Studies, and continues to host the fall semester of “Sneak Previews” for UCLA Extension.
