Oscar buzz is strong for both John Hawkes and Helen Hunt, who co-star as polio-afflicted journalist and poet Mark O'Brien and his sex surrogate, respectively. Director Lewin and William H. Macy, who has a supporting turn as a local priest, are also easily in the Oscar conversation this season. Read more from Anne Thompson about the film here, and check out the trailer below.
