Californian Melissa Leo looks sensational accepting her Golden Globe for The Fighter. She was afraid she was too young to play Mark Wahlberg's mother but went to the meeting with David O. Russell. "It's all work, man."

Leo was the expected winner in this category, which is wide open as far as Oscar nominations go; Leo and co-star Amy Adams are both expected to get nominations, along with True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld and The King's Speech's Helena Bonham Carter.
