A first trailer for "Grace of Monaco," starring Nicole Kidman as actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly, has landed.
The film, helmed by Olivier Dahan ("La Vie en Rose") and penned by Arash Amel ("Erased"), is set in the early 1960s and focuses on Kelly's marriage to Monaco's Prince Rainier III (played here by Tim Roth); meanwhile, a political dispute is in full force between the principality and France. Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi, Paz Vega and Milo Ventimiglia also star.
The Weinsteins have the film slated for a November 27 stateside release, primed to enter the Oscar fray. (Royalty biopic "Diana," starring Naomi Watts as Princess Diana, also takes a bow this season, but with complete pans from early reviews, it doesn't have much hope for awards traction.)
